Planting

Plant in a hole deep enough to accommodate the plug.

Soil Type

Fertile, well drained soil.

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2.
Plant in April and May, after the danger of frost has passed. This bloom won't need staking as its stems are stiff and wiry. Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
