Pieris are able to be planted in most types of moderately fertile soil, provided that it is well drained. Plant in areas of full sun or partial shade.
The Pieris is a fantastic choice as it is suitable for pots, containers, borders or rockeries. You should take some care though to protect from strong winds/frost in the winter. You can lightly trim back annually after flowering to remove any trou blesome shoots.
