Narcissi Slim Whitman

Narcissi Slim Whitman

A new variety and exciting introduction to our 2019 range, Slim Whitman produces classic ivory-white flower petals with lightly ruffled yellow-orange cups. Great for planting in groups in patio containers as illustrated, while also versatile enough for mass-planting with the border, where they will naturalise and multiply year after year to produce a larger display. This delightful variety is guaranteed to add some warmth in spring, flowering from April through early May. Height 30-40cm. 12/14cm bulbs supplied.

Planting

Plant at approx 10cm deep.

Soil Type

Plant at least 10cm deep in the autumn. Space as desired or plant in clumps for a cluster display. Daffodils prefer a spot well sheltered from the wind, preferably with plenty of access to sun.
Best planted in well drained, fertile soil. Keep soil moist during the growing season and allow the leaves to die back naturally before deadheading. They can be lifted and moved once the foliage has died off or they can be left to naturalise when planted in grass or under trees, where they can be left undisturbed for years.
