Magnolia Dwarf Stellata Collection

Magnolia Dwarf Stellata Collection

We are delighted to offer two premium, dwarf-growing Magnolia shrubs that reach heights of only 1.5-2m. Great for growing in the border or alternatively for growing on the patio in large pots or containers. Known fondly as the dwarf star Magnolia, each shrub produces an abundance of lightly scented star-shaped flowers from March through to late May and even into June. Their compact habit makes them ideal for any garden, regardless of size. 9cm pot plants supplied.

Normally priced at £9.99 each, you can now order two for the price of one, and receive one each of Stellata Royal Star (white) and Stellata Rosea (pink).

Planting

Shallow planting is required for Magnolia shrubs.

Soil Type

Moist, acidic-to-neutral soil

Plant in moist, acid-to-neutral soil in full sun or partial shaded areas. Shallow planting is required for magnolia bushes, in areas that have really good drainage.
Little pruning is required for these magnificent shrubs, but if required you can prune lightly once the flowers have faded. It is often recommended that you provide some protection from strong winds, and provide a mulch in early spring. Do not allow plants to dry out in hot weather and water regularly.
