Each colourful bloom is a trumpet or funnel shape and produces a wonderfully sweet scent when they flower in the summer months. This Freesia single mix looks spectacular planted en masse in the summer border where the mixture of single flowers will provide a carpet of colour. Flowers from June to August and grows to an average height of 45cm (sizes may vary).

Freesia bulbs should be planted in April in fertile and well-drained soil. Find an area of the garden that is sunny or partially sheltered and dig a hole that's 5cm deep.
Pop in the soil and space each bulb its own width apart from the other. Cover with soil and water. Make sure you also maintain a regular watering regime in hot weather.
