Dianthus Patio Devine Collection

Dianthus Patio Devine Collection

Dianthus Devine are new varieties of carnations that produce an abundance of flowers in bright colours throughout the summer. Their compact height of 25-30cm make them ideal for the front of a border or patio pots and containers. In addition to their stunning appearance the flowers are loved by butterflies, bees and other nectar loving insects. The collection of 18 includes three each of Bi-colour Bordeaux (red with white edges), Bi-colour Pink (pink/white) Clear White, Lemon (yellow/white), Neon Purple and Red. The collection of 30 includes five of each variety. UK grown 3cm jumbo plug plants supplied.

Planting

Plant on arrival in freshly prepared soil or compost

Soil Type

Fertile, well drained or a balanced compost

Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost (that is not too peaty) as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. We recommend a John Innes Compost No 2.
Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering.
