A magnificent collection of three hardy easy-to-grow climbing Clematis, producing distinctive shaped blooms are certain to draw attention. Once stablished they produce a long-lasting show of nodding flowers that are beautifully flared. Tall 7cm pot plants supplied. You will receive one each of Pricness Diana (pinky), Prince William (blue) and Princess Kate (a blend of white and reddish-purple). They can climb as much at 3-4m tall, but regular prunning will keep at a manageable height of around 2m tall.

Plant on arrival in freshly prepared soil with room for the roots to grow

Soil Type

Clematis can be planted October-May in areas with good drainage and plenty of sun is preferable. Soak in a bucket of water prior to planting and plant deep enough to allow plenty of room for root development. The roots of clematis like to be kept cool so it is a good idea to plant amongst low growing shrubs or bedding plants. If planting in containers, ensure the pot is large enough to allow the roots to expand/develop, as limitation of roots will certainly impede future success.
Clematis are vigorous climbing plants that reach various heights and spreads. Its best to prune back to keep control over the growth annually and initially they should be tied in to help direct the new growth. Apply a liquid fertiliser each during the growing season, and water regularly during hot periods.
