Athyrium filix-femina (Lady Fern)

This Lady Fern has feathery lance shaped fronds form in fresh green compact clumps. The elegant lacy bi-pinnate leaves are a decorative addiction to the garden. The Royal Horticultural Society has given Athyrium filix-femina the Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases. They are easy to grow and prefer moist neutral to acid soils in a sheltered shady spot. Height of 40-50cm and supplied in a 9cm pot.
