Plant in a hole large enough to hold the plug

Soil Type

Well drained, fertile soil

On arrival, give them a little water (if required) and light and they will be ready to plant within 48 hours. If soil, light and temperatures are poor (cool autumn) best results will be achieved by potting on for two to three weeks. This will also help to produce a bigger plant with greater flowering potential.
Ideally suited for planting in patio containers as illustrated or for front of border displays. Great as cut flowers. Our plug plants are of a size that can be planted straight into containers in the garden or can be potted on for a short period and then transplanted.
